International observers to monitor Armenia's June 2026 elections

The International Republican Institute (IRI) will deploy a delegation of international election observers to Armenia from June 3–8, 2026, to monitor the country's June 7 parliamentary elections.

The high-level mission will be led by Peter Roskam, chairman of the National Endowment for Democracy and former U.S. Representative. During their visit, observers will meet with election authorities, political parties, civil society organizations, journalists, and diplomatic missions involved in Armenia's electoral process.

The delegation will present preliminary findings at a press conference in Yerevan on June 8. These findings will build on an IRI pre-election assessment conducted in April. A comprehensive final report, including thematic analysis and recommendations, will be released in the weeks following the election.
