Armenia and US Sign Strategic Cooperation Framework

Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan and U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio signed multiple agreements in Yerevan outlining a new strategic partnership between the two countries.

The documents include a Framework Agreement on Strategic Cooperation concerning the Trump Route for International Peace and Prosperity (TRIPP), a regional trade corridor initiative. The U.S. and Armenia also signed a Charter on Comprehensive Strategic Partnership and a Framework for Securing Supply in Critical Minerals and Rare Earths.

The agreements follow a joint declaration signed by Armenian and Azerbaijani leaders in Washington on August 8, 2025, witnessed by the U.S. President. The framework emphasizes Armenia's sovereignty and territorial integrity while establishing multimodal transit connectivity aimed at advancing regional peace, stability, and economic prosperity for both nations.
