Armenia and US Sign Comprehensive Strategic Partnership Charter

Armenia and the United States have adopted a Charter on Comprehensive Strategic Partnership, establishing a framework for expanded cooperation in diplomacy, defense, trade, energy, technology, education, and cultural exchange.

The charter reaffirms both nations' commitment to strengthening democratic institutions, regional security, and economic growth. It establishes a Comprehensive Strategic Partnership Commission to oversee implementation.

The agreement references three separate memoranda of understanding signed by Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and U.S. President Donald Trump covering capacity building, artificial intelligence and semiconductor innovation, and energy security. The charter also acknowledges the August 2025 Washington Peace Summit and the Trump Route for International Peace and Prosperity (TRIPP) framework as foundations for regional stability in the South Caucasus.
